Hotel Policies

    At Casa Placita, we believe every stay should feel effortless, from your first booking to your final goodbye.

Our policies are designed to keep things clear, simple, and fair, ensuring that each guest enjoys a smooth experience. Before your arrival, please take a moment to review the information below. Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations or modifications must be requested at least three (3) days prior to the arrival date.

  • Cancellations made less than three days before arrival, or reservations marked as “no show,” are non-refundable. The total cost of the stay, including taxes and applicable charges, will be charged in full.

  • The credit card used to secure the reservation will be pre-authorized for one night. If the card cannot be authorized, the reservation will remain subject to availability and may be canceled without notice in periods of high demand.

  • Full payment for the reservation will be processed three (3) days before arrival.

No Show Policy

  • For stays longer than one night, if the guest fails to check in on the scheduled arrival date and no prior written notice has been received, the reservation will be marked as a no-show and no refund will be issued.

Travel Insurance

  • Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover unexpected situations such as illness, pandemics, severe weather, or work emergencies.

  • We recommend exploring providers such as www.insuremytrip.com.

Rates, Payments & Guarantee Policy

  • Rates are subject to change based on availability and booking date.

  • Each reservation includes the following mandatory charges:

    • 9% government tax

    • $5.00 hotel service fee

  • A valid credit card with an expiration date is required at the time of booking to guarantee the reservation through pre-authorization.

  • Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or cash upon check-in.

Check-In Policy

  • Guests must be 18 years or older to check in.

  • A valid photo ID (passport or driver’s license) is required.

  • The cardholder of the credit card used for the reservation must be present at check-in.

  • A $100 security deposit hold will be placed on the credit card to cover incidentals.

Room Policy

  • All rooms are 100% smoke-free. Smoking inside the room will result in a $250 cleaning fee.

  • Any damaged or missing items will be charged according to the following replacement list:

    • ​Lost or damaged towel $15.00

    • Damaged sheets or bedding $35.00

    • Lost TV remote control $35.00

    • Lost A/C remote control $45.00

Personal Belongings

  • Casa Placita is not responsible for the loss of money, jewelry, or other valuables left unattended in the room. Guests are advised to keep valuables secure and not leave them unsupervised.

Reservation Deposit

  • To confirm a reservation, a deposit equal to the cost of one night is required.
